Speak Out is back for a seventh season on SABC2
The new season of SABC2 consumer rights show,Speak Outreturns on Thursday, 13 March at 21:30. The newSpeak Outpromises to be more visible and more vigilant. Season 7 will zoom into stories from South Africans in small towns and rural areas where consumers are mostly uninformed about their consumer rights. These are marginalised people of this country.Speak Outwill stand and speak for the voiceless, and support and educate the exploited consumer. “In the past,Speak Outhad 100% black African complainants and with the new season we are encouraging other races to write to us asSpeak Outis for all South African consumers whose rights have been violated. There is nowhere to hide whenSpeak Outis around,” said Lebo Malete, SABC2 Publicity. This season ofSpeak Outwill tackle different business sectors and industries. There will be no business that is too big forSpeak Outas the show will seek justice and fair resolution between the complainant and the perpetrator. Dingaan Mokebe, the show’s host, is intent and vigorous in his journey to resolve consumer issues. He is fearless and ready to pull up his sleeves and tackle the consumer rights violators. This season will leave no issues unsolved and complainants will get their even handedness.Speak Outsets out to be the one place to turn to for South African consumers and aims to educate South Africans on consumer’s rights so that they can handle matters themselves wherever they are.
